Portrait artist of the Year | Live Competition

Date: September 5th

Painting time: 4hrs 4pm-8pm – with a 30 min set-up before the clock starts (Model breaks every 15 mins)

A regional competition in which contestants are challenged to produce a portrait of our celebrity guest in a 4-hour time period with live audience, commentary and sweat.  Prepare for stress, mess, laughter and memories.

Materials: Any medium of choice (space will be limited).  Artists are responsible for their own supplies and easels – however, we will have some easels and drawing horses available. First come first serve.  No Tables. Be prepared to work in an intimate setting.  Chair or stool for sitting is fine.

Total participants: 18

Model: Secret celebrity. Model will choose the winner.  Model will be unveiled at the start of the competition.

Award money: $850
